On March 21, 2017, CECEP Chairman Liu Dashan attended the inauguration ceremony of EU Gateway to China, and gave a speech. Also present was Ambassador of the European Union to China Hans Dietmar Schweisgut.
In his speech Chairman Liu thanked the efforts of EU Gateway to China to promote EU-China cooperation in the fields of energy conservation and environmental protection. He said that the purpose of this program accords with CECEP’s mission of green, sustainable development. His company is ready to enhance cooperation with its EU peers to seek win-win results, and hopes to establish long-term strategic partnerships with them, he added.
Funded by the EU, EU Gateway to China is committed to forging long-term, stable cooperative ties between European and Chinese businesses. It aims to help European companies gain a firm footing in key areas of the market, and boost economic growth and create jobs in EU countries by increasing trade and business cooperation between EU and China and establishing and enhancing ties between European and Chinese companies.
