On June 24, China Conference on Green Development 2018 was held in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. CECEP Chairman Liu Dashan was invited to attend the conference.
When addressing the meeting, Liu reviewed CECEP’s environmental pollution control projects conducted over the years in 11 provinces and municipalities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and stressed that by fully mobilizing the enthusiasm and potential of its 178 wholly-owned and shareholding subsidiaries and regional offices along the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the company will push forward a group of representative large-scale demonstration projects in cooperation with cities involved. He pointed out that after years of development, CECEP has forged sound cooperation relations with Huzhou City and the two sides are planning to jointly establish a work mechanism to deepen pragmatic cooperation in areas such as capability upgrading of Huzhou as a regional central city, building of a demonstration city in ecological civilization, construction of beautiful countryside and environmental conservation across the southern Taihu basin, so as to transform Huzhou into a national pioneer, forerunner and innovator of ecological civilization construction.
After the conference, CECEP signed a tri-party strategic partnership agreement with the Municipal Government of Huzhou and China Industrial Energy Conservation and Clean Production Association, which is expected to expand the scope of cooperation and lay a solid foundation for elevating the level of pragmatic cooperation between CECEP and Huzhou City.
