On January 8, CGC formally signed a contract with the Road Development Agency (RDA) of Zambia for the 100-kilometer Isoka–Muyombe road upgrading project in Muchinga Province, marking a new breakthrough in the company’s sustained expansion in the infrastructure construction market of Southern Africa.

On December 18, CGC formally signed a contract with Madagascar’s water and electricity utility JIRAMA for the JIRAMA pipeline project.

Recently, CGM, a subsidiary of CGC, successfully won the bid for the El Qoseir iron ore exploration project in Egypt, marking the company’s first-ever project breakthrough in the Egyptian market.

This marks a major breakthrough in CGM’s market development and reflects CGC’s active efforts to support the Belt and Road Initiative and advance practical cooperation based on its core business.

On November 21 local time, CGC successfully signed the contract for the Seboche Road upgrade project in Lesotho. The project is located in Butha-Buthe District and covers approximately 9.5 kilometers. It will be undertaken by CGC Southern Africa Branch.
