On January 29, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (CRJY) officially awarded the Ras Al-Khair Industrial City seawater cooling network upgrade project in Saudi Arabia to CGC. This successful bid marks another major milestone in the company’s expansion in the Saudi and Middle Eastern markets and is of significant strategic importance for strengthening its regional brand presence, deepening international cooperation, and expanding its overseas business portfolio.
The project is located in Ras Al-Khair Industrial City in Jubail, Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, and will be implemented by CGC’s Middle East branch. The core scope involves upgrading the existing seawater cooling pump stations and the eastern and western seawater cooling networks, improving the city’s supporting infrastructure and enhancing the reliability of industrial production.
The project features a broad construction scope and high technical requirements. Major works include site leveling, earthworks, demolition, construction of access roads and box culverts, installation of seawater cooling supply and return pipelines, as well as the construction of power distribution systems and related civil, structural, process and electrical facilities. Upon completion, the project will provide strong infrastructure support for the development of key local industries such as petrochemicals and mining.
