From August 22 to 26, CECEP CEO Wang Tongzhou headed a delegation to South Korea for China-Japan-South Korea Tripartite Roundtable on Environmental Business. During the trip, they also visited CECEP’s Korean partners and investigated projects with cooperation intentions.
The Tripartite Roundtable on Environmental Business, an event alternately hosted by China, Japan and South Korea under the mechanism of Tripartite Environment Ministers Meeting among China, Japan and South Korea, is intended to promote exchanges among the three countries in policies and practices in environmental protection. Held in Suwon, this year’s event was themed on “ Social Responsibility of Environmental Industry for Improving Green Economy Performance,” with topics of discussion centering around sustainable cities practice, environmental CSR practice, environmental indicators, policies and technological exchanges and cooperation on air quality improvement, and technological exchanges on soil pollution remediation.
The delegation also visited Hanmeida Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and gained an understanding of its R&D in sewage and sludge treatment, cost control and high-efficiency management. At Seoul headquarters of G-Smatt Global, a shareholder of Tianjin New Materials Company, and the Pyeongtaek plant of G-Smatt, they inspected the production line for intelligent glass and listened to a report delivered by G-Smatt.
During the visit, the delegation gained a clearer vision of CECEP’s roadmap for business development based on the investigation of its Korean partners while enhancing the global influence of CECEP through brand building efforts.
