On July 28, CECEP and Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County in Hezhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, jointly launched a paired assistance and collaborative development initiative under the Group's designated assistance program. Liu Dajun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of CECEP, attended the launch ceremony and delivered a speech.
Liu said that over the past 13 years of providing designated assistance to Fuchuan, CECEP has remained focused on the five key priorities of rural revitalization: industrial development, talent cultivation, cultural advancement, ecological improvement and organizational strengthening. The Group has implemented six flagship initiatives in the county, covering safe drinking water in mountainous areas, rural public lighting, industrial support, consumer assistance, education and capacity building, and healthcare assistance. These efforts have helped Fuchuan secure victory in the fight against poverty and embark steadily on a new journey of rural revitalization. Following the establishment of the paired partnership, CECEP will continue to support Fuchuan by strengthening grassroots organizations, fostering industrial growth, cultivating local talent, promoting cultural progress, and improving people's livelihoods. Through stronger commitment and more practical measures, the Group aims to write a new chapter of coordinated enterprise-local development and contribute to building Fuchuan into a prosperous and beautiful county.
On behalf of the Fuchuan County Party Committee, Yan Zixi, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee, warmly welcomed Liu and his delegation and expressed sincere appreciation for CECEP's long-standing support. He noted that over the years, CECEP has made dedicated efforts, substantial investments and concrete contributions to advancing the county's distinctive industries and improving public well-being, providing strong momentum for Fuchuan's comprehensive rural revitalization. Taking the paired partnership as a new starting point, Fuchuan will deepen cooperation with CECEP across a wide range of fields, jointly explore new pathways and models for advancing comprehensive rural revitalization in ethnic minority areas, and ensure that the benefits of the partnership are shared by local communities.
During the visit, Liu held discussions with the principal leaders of the Fuchuan County Party Committee and county government, conducted field inspections of education assistance programs, industrial support projects and public welfare initiatives, and visited CECEP officials serving in temporary local government positions.
During the event, 10 CECEP subsidiaries—New Era Health Industry (Group), Jiangxi Company, CECEP Asset Management, CECEP Central China Industry Development, CECEP Solar, CECEP Finance, CECEP Techand, CECEP Guozhen, the Research Center, and CECEP Data—signed paired cooperation agreements with designated assistance townships and carried out field visits in the participating communities. Representatives from CECEP's Party Affairs Department and General Office also attended the event.
