He also thanked them for their long-standing support and assistance to CECEP, and introduced the Group’s overall profile, business layout and its Fifteenth Five-Year strategic plan. He noted that, as a central state-owned enterprise with energy conservation and environmental protection as its core business, CECEP remains firmly committed to the principles of ecological civilization and places great emphasis on expanding its overseas operations. The Group is accelerating the reshaping of its international business system and hopes, with continued support from the CCPIT, to make full use of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation platforms it provides. CECEP aims to engage more deeply in bilateral and multilateral economic and trade activities and major international exhibitions, actively promote its technologies and standards in solid waste treatment, wastewater treatment, clean energy, dual-carbon services and ecological restoration, and further expand international cooperation, contributing CECEP solutions and strength to the building of a clean and beautiful world.
Ren Hongbin spoke highly of CECEP’s achievements in promoting green and low-carbon development and outlined the basic profile, responsibilities and key business areas of the CCPIT. He emphasized that, as a national organization dedicated to promoting foreign trade and investment, the council has always supported the international development of Chinese enterprises and places great importance on cooperation with leading companies such as CECEP. Against the backdrop of a complex and evolving global economic and trade environment, he noted that Chinese enterprises urgently need to strengthen their international discourse power and enhance their global influence. The council looks forward to strengthening cooperation with CECEP in areas such as the co-development of green trade standards, mutual recognition of international certifications for energy conservation and emissions reduction, overseas legal services and the global promotion of energy-saving and environmental protection technologies. Together, the two sides aim to advance Chinese green and low-carbon solutions on the global stage and make positive contributions to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
