On May 22, Zhang Yuzhuo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council, visited CECEP for research.

On the afternoon of May 15, the Group convened a plenary meeting of the Leading Group of the CECEP Yangtze River Economic Belt Pollution Control Platform to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and directives on promoting high-quality development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, review and deliberate on the Three-year Action Plan for the Yangtze River Protection drafted by CECEP, and deploy key tasks for the next phase.

​On May 12, Liao Jiasheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of CECEP, welcomed Zhao Zhibin—member of the Standing Committee of Xiangyang Municipal Party Committee, director of the Organization Department and leader of the city’s Seventh Investment Promotion Delegation—and his entourage to CECEP Headquarters. The two sides held in-depth discussions on pragmatic cooperation in infrastructure development, clean energy supply, waste and refuse treatment, and innovation in green finance.

On April 24, two infrastructure projects constructed by China Geo-engineering Corporation– the 12-city Water Supply Project in Côte d’Ivoire and the Marakabei-Monontsa Asphalt Road Upgrade Project in Lesotho – were selected as 2024 "Small yet Impactful" Model Demonstration Projects by the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA).

On April 27, 2025, His Excellency Khalid Al-Salmi, President of Saudi Arabia's Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY), inaugurated the trial operation of the Ras Al-Khair Industrial City Medical Clinic and inspected ongoing projects constructed by China Geo-engineering Corporation in the industrial zone.
