From Sept. 13 to 17, Zhang Shirong, director and general manager of the Group, and outside directors Lin Wanli and Qi Guosheng led a delegation to Australia and New Zealand to inspect key overseas subsidiaries and projects in the Group’s new energy and life and health sectors. The delegation heard reports on the companies’ production and operations, assessed overseas market conditions, made arrangements for key work, and held working meetings with several local partners.
From Sept. 13 to 15, the delegation visited Sydney and Armidale in Australia, where it inspected the Group’s wind power operations in Australia and the White Rock Wind Farm project. The delegation heard reports on production and operations and conducted research on local energy policies, country risks and market prospects. It also inquired about the work and living conditions of local employees, spoke highly of the dedication of frontline employees who are committed to their projects and fulfilling their responsibilities, and put forward five requirements for the companies’ next stage of development. First, the companies should focus on their core wind power business, accurately assess local renewable energy policies and market conditions, and optimize their overseas business layout. Second, they should deepen their presence in the local market, closely follow electricity trading rules, optimize trading strategies and improve project operating performance. Third, they should expand channels for cooperation, proactively engage with local partners and professional institutions, and identify opportunities for project cooperation. Fourth, they should deepen lean management, optimize equipment maintenance and production and operations processes, tap into potential for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and strengthen the foundation for safe production. Fifth, they should firmly uphold the bottom line for risks, improve overseas compliance systems, accurately address various risks involving policies, markets and exchange rates, and ensure the sound operation of overseas businesses. During their stay in Australia, the delegation also held discussions with Goldwind Australia and the Sydney Branch of China Construction Bank, exchanging views on Australia’s energy landscape, the prospects of the new energy industry and future cooperation.

From Sept. 16 to 17, the delegation visited Auckland, New Zealand, to inspect MP Biomedicals New Zealand, a subsidiary of Valiant. The delegation visited production workshops and laboratories, heard a report on the company’s production and operations, held discussions and made arrangements on market expansion, lean management and core-business synergies, and extended greetings to employees on site. Zhang Shirong and the outside directors spoke highly of the company’s production and operations, quality control and overseas expansion, and identified three key areas of work. First, the company should strengthen industrial chain coordination, establish mechanisms linking domestic and overseas operations, and leverage the Group’s resource advantages to unlock synergies across the industrial chain. Second, it should deepen its presence in the domestic market, leverage its advantages in high-standard overseas production and testing, establish communication channels between government and enterprises, and continue expanding its share of the domestic market. Third, it should upgrade and improve production capacity, optimize production processes in line with market demand, benchmark against high industry standards to improve quality and efficiency, and support the company’s high-quality development. During their stay in New Zealand, the delegation held a business meeting with Auckland BioSciences to learn about local industry development and explore opportunities for cooperation.
