From September 7 to 11, 2026, Scott Morris, Vice-President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and Priyantha Wijayatunga, Chief of Energy Sector Group, led a delegation in conducting a project completion review of the ADB fund projects under sovereign loans, implemented by CECEP Fund Management, a subsidiary of CECEP Capital Holdings.

The ADB delegation conducted field visits to the 800-megawatt Tianpishan Independent Energy Storage Power Station in Qahar Right Front Banner, Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, operated by CECEP, and the Solid Waste Treatment Project in Yu County, Hebei Province, operated by General Water of China, among other projects invested in with ADB funds. The delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the projects' construction and operational performance and conducted a comprehensive assessment of their implementation results. Through the field visits and on-site exchanges, the ADB spoke highly of the implementation results of CECEP's ADB fund projects, fully recognized their exemplary role in advancing green and low-carbon development, and highly commended CECEP's comprehensive strengths and achievements in energy conservation, environmental protection and renewable energy. The ADB expressed expectations for both sides to continue deepening exchanges and cooperation and jointly promote the development of green and low-carbon industries.
Going forward, CECEP Capital Holdings will remain committed to green finance, focus on the Group's 15th Five-Year Plan strategy, and fully leverage industrial funds as a business intelligence arm and an incubator for emerging strategic industries, strengthening the integration of industry and finance to support high-quality development of the Group's core businesses.
