On September 9, the first CECEP Employee Basketball Tournament came to a successful close at the Ditan Gymnasium in Beijing. Organized by the Group's labor union, co-organized by the Group's youth league committee and hosted by the labor union of CECEP Solar, the tournament brought together more than 200 employee athletes from 16 teams across the Group, delivering a vibrant and spirited showcase of employee sportsmanship. Entrusted by Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, Zhang Shirong, General Manager of the Group, attended the event and delivered the opening address. Yang Feng, Discipline Inspection Secretary, and Cao Huabin, Deputy General Manager, also attended the event and participated in the award ceremony.
Rivalry on the court showcased competitive spirit

In the third-place playoff, the two teams moved swiftly and smoothly between offense and defense, with the score rising alternately as the lead changed hands. Suspense remained until the final whistle. Players fought for every possession, with fast breaks and precise shots providing one thrilling moment after another, while their never-give-up spirit further electrified the atmosphere. In the championship final that followed, both teams gave their all in pursuit of the title, displaying courage, determination and a strong competitive spirit, as well as outstanding athletic ability and team cohesion. Throughout the tournament, the pace remained fast and the competition intense, fully reflecting the positive, enterprising and united spirit of CECEP employees.
Honors crown achievements and inspire future endeavors
After fierce competition, all awards were presented. The CECEP Solar team claimed the championship with its outstanding overall strength and performance on the court, while the Valiant team finished runner-up and the CECEP Central China Industry Development team took third place. The Group Headquarters, CGC and CECWPC received the outstanding organization award, while CNEPG, General Water of China and CECEP Building Energy Conservation received the best sportsmanship award. Zhang Shirong, General Manager of the Group; Yang Feng, Discipline Inspection Secretary; and Cao Huabin, Deputy General Manager, presented awards to the winning teams respectively.
The game may end, but the pursuit continues. The employee basketball tournament not only enriched employees' cultural and recreational lives and promoted physical fitness, but also strengthened teamwork and boosted morale.
