On the afternoon of September 9, Liao Jiansheng, chairman of CECEP, held a working meeting with Wang Haimin, chairman of China Resources (Holdings) Company Limited (CRC), in Hong Kong. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening practical cooperation. Lan Yi, CRC vice general manager, attended the meeting.
Liao Jiansheng expressed his appreciation for CRC’s continued support and assistance to CECEP and briefed Wang Haimin on CECEP’s overall development and strategic plans. He said that, as a central state-owned enterprise focused on energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP is committed to advancing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and actively supporting China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. The Group has developed a range of core technologies and accumulated extensive practical experience in energy conservation and environmental protection. With a long history and strong capabilities, CRC has developed a strong presence in integrated energy, urban development and operations, science and technology, and emerging industries, giving the two sides significant potential for cooperation. CECEP hopes to deepen strategic cooperation with CRC in areas including new energy, energy conservation and carbon reduction, ecological and environmental protection, new materials, and health and wellness, working together to make greater contributions to green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
Wang Haimin welcomed Liao Jiansheng and his delegation and introduced CRC’s development history and business portfolio. He said that, as a diversified conglomerate and state-owned capital investment company, CRC is committed to leading commercial progress and creating a better life and has developed a number of high-quality products and well-known brands. CECEP has extensive practical experience and leading technological capabilities in energy conservation and environmental protection, providing a solid foundation and broad prospects for cooperation between the two sides. CRC looks forward to strengthening cooperation with CECEP in areas including new energy development and utilization, integrated energy management, advanced chemical materials, and technological innovation, while leveraging their respective strengths, actively expanding areas of cooperation, and working toward mutual benefits and coordinated development.
