On September 7, Liao Jiansheng, chairman of CECEP, conducted business research in Shenzhen. Zhu Qingfeng, chief accountant of the Group, accompanied him.
Liao Jiansheng and his delegation visited the Shenzhen headquarters of China Everbright Environment Group Limited and held a working meeting with Wang Silian, chairman of Everbright Environment. During the meeting, both sides briefed each other on their recent development and held in-depth discussions on the 15th Five-Year Plan, technological innovation, scenario development, management improvement and business coordination. Both sides agreed that CECEP and Everbright Environment share aligned strategic missions, have complementary business strengths and enjoy broad prospects for cooperation. Both sides said they would focus closely on major national strategies, further strengthen strategic coordination and resource sharing, and continue to deepen cooperation in market development, technological breakthroughs, operations and management, talent development, international business and digital transformation. Together, they will promote high-quality development of the energy conservation and environmental protection industry and make greater contributions to building a Beautiful China.
Following the meeting, the two sides formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Liao Jiansheng and Wang Silian witnessed the signing, while Zhu Qingfeng and Li Changfu, vice president of Everbright Environment, signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides.

During his stay in Shenzhen, Liao Jiansheng and his delegation visited Techand and Shenzhen Hualianfa Electronics United, a subsidiary of China New Era Group Corporation, to conduct on-site research. They inspected the operations of Hualianfa Building and Yuanwang Market, listened to work reports from the local companies and visited frontline employees.

Liao Jiansheng spoke highly of the achievements made by the local companies. He noted that the companies had demonstrated strong commitment to implementing the Group's strategies, achieved notable results in overcoming challenges, maintained orderly and standardized operations and management, carried out learning and education initiatives effectively, and demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility among their management and employees, presenting a positive and dynamic image. He put forward specific requirements for their next steps: First, they should strengthen their core functions, focus on the Group's principal businesses to expand new business opportunities, accelerate the resolution of longstanding issues and continuously consolidate the foundation for high-quality development. Second, they should strengthen efforts to overcome challenges, advance key initiatives such as the asset restructuring of Techand in a prudent and orderly manner, and make every effort to achieve the annual business targets. Third, they should deepen lean management, improve performance assessment and incentive mechanisms, effectively implement measures to reduce costs, increase efficiency and benchmark performance, and continuously enhance customer satisfaction and market competitiveness. Fourth, they should strengthen risk prevention and control in all areas, improve long-term mechanisms for production safety management and firmly uphold the bottom line of safe development.
