At 10 a.m. on September 1, the PALLAS-1 Y1 carrier rocket successfully lifted off after ignition at the Dongfeng commercial space innovation pilot zone in Jiuquan, and proceeded into its designated orbit as planned. New Era (Xi’an) Design Engineering, a subsidiary of CQEC, undertook the launch site design for the carrier rocket.
This launch marked the first use of Phase I of the launch pad complex for the PALLAS series of rockets. As a dedicated launch facility for liquid-propellant carrier rockets, the complex is an integral part of the launch site and provides comprehensive support for the entire process, from rocket testing and propellant loading to launch operations. Its successful commissioning has validated CQEC’s design solutions and technical capabilities in commercial space launch sites and supporting ground facilities.
