On August 17, CECEP held the China Energy Conservation Seminar, inviting Chinese Academy of Sciences Academician and Tsinghua University Professor Li Jinghong to deliver a special lecture. Zhang Shirong, General Manager of CECEP, presided over the event.
Academician Li Jinghong provided a systematic analysis of the overall development of China’s new energy storage industry from four perspectives: the policy environment, project development, the industrial ecosystem, and the medium- and long-term market outlook. The lecture helped participants gain a clear understanding of industry trends, stay abreast of cutting-edge technological developments, and identify entry points for business expansion.

Zhang Shirong said in his remarks that all Party members and officials across the Group should take this study session as an opportunity to deepen their learning and put what they learn into practice. Innovation and breakthroughs in emerging green businesses such as new energy storage should be leveraged to enhance and upgrade CECEP’s core businesses, support the Group’s higher-quality development in energy conservation, environmental protection, and green and low-carbon sectors, and contribute to the development of a Beautiful China.
The seminar was conducted in a hybrid in-person + video format. More than 2,600 participants, including CECEP’s senior executives, heads of departments and divisions at headquarters, all Party members, and members of the leadership teams as well as middle-level and above management personnel of the Group’s second- and third-tier subsidiaries, attended the training across 323 venues.
