Recently, the National Landscape Conservation and Ecological Restoration Project Promotion Conference, organized by China's Ministry of Natural Resources, was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Officials from the Department of Territorial Space Ecological Restoration of the Ministry of Natural Resources, representatives from relevant provinces, and industry experts attended the meeting. Participants visited the Qinling Mountains to conduct on-site inspections of representative ecological restoration projects under the Qinling Landscape Conservation and Ecological Restoration Project. Representatives from the CGC Land Environmental Rehabilitation Center also took part in the field visit.

During the on-site inspection, Feng Shaohua, Chief Engineer of the CGC Land Environmental Rehabilitation Center, gave a detailed presentation on the project's overall planning framework, the identification of major regional ecological issues, and the development of restoration strategies tailored to different ecological zones and challenges.

As the lead organization responsible for the overall planning and design of the Qinling Landscape Conservation and Ecological Restoration Project, CGC has fully leveraged its technical expertise and extensive practical experience in integrated ecosystem restoration covering mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, grasslands and deserts. Based on a thorough assessment of the Qinling Mountains' ecological conditions, it systematically identified the region's key ecological challenges and innovatively established a comprehensive evaluation framework integrating ecological issue identification, monitoring and assessment, and performance indicators. At the same time, it coordinated the planning of 35 subprojects, helping the local authorities develop a number of flagship restoration initiatives and creating a new model for overall landscape restoration planning that combines scientific rigor with practical implementation.

Moving forward, CGC will remain focused on achieving high-quality project completion, fully support the acceptance and evaluation process, and continue contributing to the ecological conservation and high-quality development of the Qinling Mountains.
