From July 28 to 29, Zhang Shirong, General Manager of CECEP, led a delegation to Shenzhen to conduct field inspections at subsidiaries and projects, including CECEP Techand Ecology, CECEP Central China Industry Development, CQEC, China New Era Group Corporation and General Water of China.

During the inspection tour, Zhang Shirong received a work report from Techand and subsequently visited the Kechuang Tower project, the Jingneng Industrial Park green and low-carbon smart retrofit project, Shenzhen Machinery Institute Architectural Design, Hualianfa Electronics United, the Shajing Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II project and the Gushu Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II rooftop park project. He gained detailed insights into production operations and project progress at each unit and held in-depth discussions with the respective enterprise leaders.

Zhang Shirong affirmed the achievements made by all units in the first half of the year and put forward requirements for the next phase of work. First, intensify market expansion, focus on core business development, proactively adapt to market changes while strengthening internal coordination and enhancing upstream-downstream linkages across business segments to form a cohesive development force. Second, deepen lean management, standardize operational processes, summarize best practices, firmly implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement measures, and go all out to meet annual operational targets. Third, accelerate innovation-driven transformation, increase R&D investment and digital intelligence empowerment, and elevate core competitiveness. Fourth, rigorously pursue receivable collections and debt clearance, adopt multiple measures to advance cash recovery and revitalize existing assets, and prudently mitigate risks. Fifth, strictly uphold safety and environmental protection baselines, intensify hazard inspections, and reinforce seasonal preventive measures particularly against flooding and typhoons. Sixth, uphold the guiding role of Party building, promote deep integration of Party building with business operations, and leverage the educational campaign on establishing and practicing a correct approach to performance evaluation to strengthen teams, enforce discipline and improve conduct.
