On July 27, the 2026 Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone Developer Conference was held in Shanghai, where Chen Jining, Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, attended and delivered a speech. Under the theme "Cross-Border Integration, Collaborative Innovation", the conference brought together members of the developer alliance along with relevant universities, institutions and enterprises to explore new paradigms for high-quality green development in the demonstration zone. Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, was invited to attend the conference and carried out related business activities in Shanghai. On the morning of July 27, Liao Jiasheng held a working exchange with Huang Xiaojun, Senior Vice President of Veolia Environment and General Representative for China. The two sides engaged in discussions on strategic planning, operations management, technological innovation and business cooperation. Both parties agreed that Veolia, as a globally leading environmental services group, and CECEP, as a flagship enterprise in the domestic energy conservation and environmental protection sector, are both committed to providing comprehensive and efficient environmental solutions covering water, waste and energy management for urban and industrial areas. Their strategic goals are aligned and their cooperation potential is enormous. Both hope to deepen collaboration in areas such as water and solid waste treatment, resource recycling, and integrated energy management, joining hands to contribute to global ecological transformation.

On the morning of July 27, Liao Jiasheng held a working meeting with Leng Weiqing, Chairman of Shanghai Industrial Investment (Holdings) Co., Ltd., and Zhang Qian, President of the company. Both sides acknowledged that as a comprehensive enterprise group wholly owned by the Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, SIIC has deep roots in life sciences, environmental services, urban renewal, financial investment and low-carbon consumption, and has a solid cooperation foundation and broad prospects with CECEP. They look forward to further strengthening collaboration in ecological and environmental protection, energy conservation and carbon reduction, and comprehensive health, jointly supporting green and low-carbon high-quality development.

During the conference, the general meeting of the developer alliance members was held concurrently. CECEP, as a deputy secretary-general unit, attended the meeting and received the alliance's annual Activity Star award. The CECEP Green Low-Carbon Smart Manufacturing Park project, implemented by CECEP Central China Industry Development Co., Ltd. in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province, was recognized as an alliance service demonstration zone practice case.
