From July 15 to 16, Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, attended the opening ceremony and related events of the 27th Qinghai-China Investment and Trade Fair for Green Development at the invitation of the organizers. During the visit, he also conducted research visits to the Group's subsidiaries in Xining and Delingha. Liu Dajun, Deputy Party Secretary of CECEP, participated in the research activities.

Liao and his delegation visited the CECEP Guozhen Huangle Wastewater Treatment Plant in Xining, the Delingha Wind Farm operated by CECWPC, and the Delingha Photovoltaic Power Station operated by CECEP Solar. They gained a detailed understanding of production and operational performance, equipment and technologies, and development planning, extended greetings to frontline employees, and listened to work reports from the subsidiaries. The delegation also inspected two concentrated solar power plants in Delingha that adopt different technological approaches.

Liao commended the achievements made by the subsidiaries during the first half of the year and praised the dedication of their employees and officials who have worked on the plateau for many years, noting their unwavering commitment and strong fighting spirit despite the challenging high-altitude environment. He also outlined the priorities for the next stage of work. First, the subsidiaries should remain focused on their core businesses while optimizing their business portfolios. They should respond effectively to changes in the industry, consolidate their operational fundamentals, actively develop emerging businesses such as new energy storage, electricity trading, virtual power plants, and concentrated solar power, and accelerate the cultivation of new growth drivers. Second, they should better serve regional development and expand their business scale. In line with Qinghai's positioning as a national hub for the clean energy industry and its efforts to strengthen water ecological conservation in the Sanjiangyuan region, they should continue to intensify market development and resource acquisition, actively advance the implementation of high-quality projects, and strive to achieve their annual business targets. Third, they should strengthen technological innovation to foster new quality productive forces. This includes deepening the "Five Small" innovation initiative, continuously improving equipment and production processes, actively promoting the application of AI and big data technologies, and enhancing core competitiveness. Fourth, they should reinforce lean management to improve business performance. They should establish a lifecycle cost management approach, strictly standardize bidding and procurement procedures, focus on cost reduction and efficiency improvement, accounts receivable collection, safety and environmental protection, while strengthening internal coordination as well as performance evaluation and incentive mechanisms to improve operational quality and efficiency. Fifth, they should uphold the Party's leadership to build stronger development momentum. They should further integrate Party building with business operations, give full play to the exemplary role of Party members and the strength of Party branches, steadily advance education on establishing and practicing a correct view of political performance, strengthen employee care and talent development, and rigorously promote Party conduct, discipline and anti-corruption efforts, so that high-quality Party building provides strong support for high-quality development.
