On June 25, the 2025 Annual Meeting, Board Election and Awards Ceremony of the Contact Office of Chinese Companies in Saudi Arabia (COCC) was held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Centered on the theme of "Building Synergy, Enhancing Services, Promoting Cooperation, and Pursuing Shared Development to Advance the High-Quality Growth of Chinese Enterprises in Saudi Arabia", the event was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua, who delivered a keynote address, along with more than 170 representatives from over 80 member companies. CGM's Saudi Arabia Branch, a subsidiary of CGC (referred to as CGM Saudi Arabia), was once again elected as a board member of the COCC. Employee Xu Zongkai was honored with the title of Advanced Worker for China–Saudi Arabia Friendship.
As a board member of the COCC, CGM Saudi Arabia has consistently fulfilled its responsibilities by serving as a bridge between stakeholders, actively supporting the association's development and the growth of its member companies. The branch has continuously strengthened exchanges and cooperation with Saudi government agencies, research institutions and business partners. Leveraging its expertise in geological surveying and mining engineering construction, it has made positive contributions to promoting resource sharing, experience exchange and mutually beneficial cooperation among Chinese enterprises operating in Saudi Arabia.
The branch's re-election as a board member reflects the full recognition of its work by the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia, the COCC and its member companies. Going forward, under the guidance of the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia, CGM Saudi Arabia will continue to fulfill its responsibilities as a board member, actively support the COCC's initiatives, further strengthen cooperation with Chinese enterprises operating in Saudi Arabia, continuously enhance its service capabilities and international business operations, and make new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of Belt and Road cooperation and the China–Saudi Arabia comprehensive strategic partnership.
