On the afternoon of June 23, CECEP and CATL signed an agreement to deepen their strategic cooperation during the Summer Davos Forum in Dalian. Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, attended the signing ceremony and met with a delegation led by Zeng Yuqun, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CATL. Cao Huabin, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, and Zheng Yelai, Co-President of CATL's Market System, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Liao Jiasheng briefed the participants on CECEP's recent development. He noted that, as a centrally administered state-owned enterprise specializing in energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP has consistently regarded implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization as its mission, fully supporting China's carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and the Beautiful China Initiative. CATL possesses world-leading technologies and strong capabilities in new energy batteries and advanced energy storage, while CECEP has strong research and development capabilities in new energy batteries and perovskite materials. The two companies share aligned strategic missions, complementary business strengths and broad prospects for cooperation. Since the beginning of this year, collaboration between CECEP and CATL has advanced efficiently across multiple fields and delivered notable results. With the signing of this agreement, the direction of cooperation has become clearer and the projects more concrete. CECEP hopes to use this agreement as an opportunity to deepen strategic cooperation with CATL in areas including new energy and energy storage business synergies, zero-carbon park development, joint technology research, and overseas market expansion, working together to achieve high-quality development.
Zeng Yuqun commended the progress made in the recent cooperation between the two companies. He said that, as a global leader in zero-carbon new energy technologies, CATL is committed to providing world-class solutions for new energy applications worldwide. CECEP has extensive expertise and strong technological capabilities in new energy and advanced materials, creating tremendous potential for further cooperation. CATL looks forward to taking this agreement as a new starting point to strengthen collaboration with CECEP in energy storage technology applications, advanced material development, zero-carbon scenario development, and overseas business coordination, while actively expanding areas of cooperation, innovating business partnership models, and striving to achieve mutual benefit and coordinated development.

Zhao Youmin, Secretary to the Board of Directors and Director of the Cooperation Department of CECEP, along with representatives from the Overseas Business Department, the Science and Technology Department, CECWPC, CECEP Solar, Valiant, CECEP Building Energy Conservation, CQEC and other affiliated units, attended the event. Representatives from CATL's Zero-Carbon Energy Business Unit, the Procurement Center System Platform Department and other related divisions also participated.
