On June 12, CGC’s Southern Africa Branch officially signed the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for the Kananga River-Crossing Box Culvert Project in Zambia’s Southern Province with Ever Great Energy Company Ltd.
The project’s core scope of work includes the design and construction of a 55-meter reinforced concrete river-crossing box culvert. Upon completion, the project will effectively remove a key barrier to local river crossing, improve the regional transportation infrastructure network, support the coordinated development of the local energy and transportation sectors, enhance travel conditions for local residents, and contribute to steady regional economic growth.
CGC will efficiently advance the project’s preparatory work, further refine construction plans, and maintain strict control over safety, quality and schedule management. Leveraging its technical expertise and resource advantages, the company will strive to deliver a high-quality benchmark project, continue strengthening its overseas infrastructure brand, and lay a solid foundation for deeper engagement in the African market.
