On June 16, Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, met with Wang Zhijian, Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry (SDHI), and his delegation at CECEP headquarters. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening practical cooperation. Hu Haihua, Deputy General Manager of SDHI; Tai Xuecheng, Board Secretary and Director of the General Office of SDHI; and Zhao Youmin, Board Secretary and Director of the Cooperation Department of CECEP, attended the meeting.
Liao Jiasheng extended a warm welcome to Wang Zhijian and his delegation and introduced CECEP’s core business portfolio and strategic plans. He noted that, as a central state-owned enterprise specializing in energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP has thoroughly implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, actively supported the national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals as well as the Beautiful China Initiative, and remained committed to building a world-class energy conservation and environmental protection industrial group. He stated that SDHI is a leading Chinese industrial equipment multinational with global influence. Adhering to the principles of green manufacturing and green development, SDHI has highly complementary strengths and strong business alignment with CECEP, creating significant potential for cooperation. He expressed hope that the two sides would deepen collaboration in ecological and environmental protection, energy conservation and carbon reduction, the development of zero-carbon industrial parks and factories, and overseas market expansion, jointly advancing green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.
Wang Zhijian thanked CECEP for its warm reception and introduced the development and business layout of SDHI. He said that SDHI has consistently upheld its mission of “We are ONE in Shaping a Tech-empowered Future”, focusing on seven major business segments: power systems, commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, intelligent logistics, marine transportation equipment, and power and energy. It is committed to becoming a technologically advanced, green, world-class multinational manufacturer of high-end equipment. He noted that CECEP possesses extensive practical experience and strong industry influence in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection. The two sides enjoy a solid foundation for cooperation and broad prospects for future collaboration. SDHI looks forward to strengthening cooperation with CECEP in solid waste and wastewater treatment, coordination in new energy businesses, carbon peaking and carbon neutrality planning consultancy, and joint scientific and technological research and development, with the aim of achieving mutual benefit and coordinated growth.
