From June 4 to 5, Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, traveled to Xi’an to inspect CQEC, CECEP Xi’an Qiyuan Mechanical and Electrical Equipment, Qiyuan (Xi’an) Darong Environmental Protection Technology, CECEP Xi’an Ecological Environment Company, etc. He also conducted a field visit to the integrated conservation and restoration project for mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, grasslands and deserts on the northern foothills of the Qinling Mountains, which is being undertaken by CGC and CQEC.

Liao Jiasheng and his delegation visited the intelligent manufacturing workshop for electrical equipment at Qiyuan Mechanical and Electrical Equipment, the catalyst production workshop and laboratory at Qiyuan (Xi’an) Darong Environmental Protection Technology, the sludge treatment workshop and central control room of CECEP Xi’an Ecological Environment Company, and the buckwheat flower demonstration area of the Qinling ecological restoration project. They gained a detailed understanding of manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, production processes and project construction, and extended their regards to frontline employees.

During the inspection tour, Liao Jiasheng received reports from the Xi’an-based enterprises on their study and education campaign on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, business operations, the formulation of their 15th Five-Year Plan and the implementation of the “Overcoming Challenges and Tackling Tough Tasks” initiative. He acknowledged the achievements made by the enterprises since the beginning of the year and put forward requirements for the next stage of work. First, they should uphold high-target strategic guidance, strengthen confidence, confront challenges head-on, formulate and implement the 15th Five-Year Plan in a proactive and prudent manner, and fully advance the Capacity Doubling Initiative. Second, they should consolidate their leading role in market development, innovate marketing approaches, intensify market promotion efforts, continuously enhance market share and influence, and ensure the completion of annual business targets. Third, they should increase investment in scientific and technological research and development, continuously improve production processes, accelerate digital and intelligent transformation, and strengthen core competitiveness. Fourth, they should reinforce lean management, effectively advance quality and efficiency improvement, risk prevention and control, receivables recovery, workplace safety and environmental protection, while enhancing internal collaboration to improve operational performance and efficiency. Fifth, they should deepen internal reform, optimize organizational structures and business layouts, improve performance evaluation and incentive mechanisms, and further stimulate endogenous growth momentum. Sixth, they should uphold Party building as a guiding force, carry out the study and education campaign on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements in a solid manner, promote the integration of Party building and business development, strengthen the workforce, continuously improve work conduct, and provide high-quality Party building support and guarantees for high-quality development.
