On May 28, CECEP’s Third Employee Health Run kicked off with great energy at Beijing Olympic Forest Park. The event was jointly organized by the Group’s Labor Union and Youth League Committee and hosted by CECWPC. Nearly 300 employees from the Group’s Beijing-based units, along with relevant Group leaders, participated in the event.
The atmosphere at the venue was vibrant and enthusiastic, with all participants demonstrating high spirits and strong determination. In his remarks, Liu Dajun, Director of CECEP and Chairman of the Labor Union, extended warm greetings to the employees who actively took part in the event. He encouraged everyone to maintain regular exercise and build strong physical fitness. He also expressed the hope that the determination, competitive spirit and positive energy displayed on the running track would be transformed into motivation for fulfilling responsibilities, overcoming challenges, working diligently and taking initiative in their daily roles, thereby creating a powerful collective force to support the Group’s high-quality development.
The event featured two race categories, 5 kilometers and 10 kilometers, catering to both recreational fitness enthusiasts and those seeking a greater personal challenge. At the starting signal, participants set off in an orderly manner with confident strides. Running side by side, they conveyed vitality through every step and promoted the concept of “Happy Work, Healthy Life” through action. Along the route, colleagues encouraged and supported one another while fully enjoying the energy and excitement of exercise. All participants who successfully completed the race received commemorative finisher medals. Many participants remarked that running together in a natural setting provided both physical and mental relaxation while allowing them to experience more deeply the warmth of the CECEP family and the strength of team cohesion.
The event provided a platform for employees to connect, communicate and showcase their spirit. Through running, participants strengthened friendships and sharpened their determination, fully demonstrating the vitality, unity and enterprising spirit of CECEP employees. The Group’s Labor Union and Youth League Committee will continue to strengthen employee cultural programs and regularly organize a variety of sports and cultural activities, further enhancing employees’ sense of belonging and well-being while continuously injecting new momentum into the Group’s high-quality development.
