On May 21, CECEP and Song County in Henan Province jointly held a paired assistance and cooperative development event. Xin Junfeng, Party Secretary of Song County, delivered a welcome address, while Liu Dajun, Director of CECEP, attended the event and delivered remarks.

Xin Junfeng extended a warm welcome to Liu Dajun and his delegation and expressed sincere gratitude for CECEP’s long-term and wholehearted support. He noted that over the years, CECEP has provided substantial assistance and strong support, playing an active role in helping Song County consolidate its poverty alleviation achievements and promote high-quality development. He said Song County will take this paired cooperation initiative as a new starting point, make full use of the resources of central state-owned enterprises, strengthen specialty industries, improve public well-being, and work together with CECEP to write a new chapter of enterprise-local cooperation and rural revitalization.
Liu Dajun stated that CECEP and Song County have worked together in targeted assistance efforts for 13 years, continuously supporting the county in areas including funding, talent development, industrial development and educational assistance, helping Song County secure victory in the fight against poverty and embark on a new journey of rural revitalization. He noted that Song County has adhered to an ecological development strategy, strengthened county industries, and promoted cultural and tourism development, achieving notable results in the construction of its Three Valleys initiative. He said CECEP will uphold a people-centered approach to development, focus on the five key areas of rural revitalization, leverage its professional strengths in energy conservation and environmental protection, deepen cooperation in green energy, wastewater treatment and ecological product value realization, promote the central SOE + government + cooperative + farmers model, improve normalized assistance mechanisms, and advance targeted assistance efforts through practical measures and tangible results.
Song Kenan, along with officials from the county committee, county government and relevant departments, attended the event. Ten second-tier subsidiaries, including CGC, CQEC, CNEPG, General Water of China, CECEP Building Energy Conservation, Valiant, CECWPC, CECEP Capital Holdings, CECEP Ecotech and the Supply Chain Company, signed paired cooperation agreements with designated assistance townships and conducted field research in relevant towns. Representatives from CECEP’s Cooperation and Development Department and Party and Mass Work Department also attended the event.
