On May 18, Cao Huabin, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, met at the Group’s headquarters with a South African ministerial delegation focused on national financial management, financing and fiscal sustainability. The two sides held in-depth discussions on solid waste treatment, wastewater treatment, new energy and green mining development. Both sides agreed that there is broad potential for cooperation across multiple fields and expressed their commitment to strengthening communication and coordination while pragmatically advancing exchanges and cooperation in various sectors.
The delegation was organized by the Academy for International Business Officials under China’s Ministry of Commerce and consisted of 25 ministerial- and director-level government officials from the African National Congress of South Africa. Representatives from the Overseas Business Department of CECEP, as well as related officials from CECEP Solar, CECWPC, General Water of China, CGC, CNEPG and the Research Center, attended the meeting.
