On May 14, Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, and Zhang Shirong, General Manager, held working talks at the Group headquarters with Wu Lei, Chairman of Shanghai Electric, and Zhu Zhaokai, President of Shanghai Electric. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on strengthening practical cooperation. Cao Huabin, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, and Jia Tinggang, Vice President of Shanghai Electric, attended the meeting.
Liao Jiasheng welcomed Wu Lei and his delegation and introduced CECEP’s basic situation, core business layout and strategic planning. He noted that, as the only central state-owned enterprise with energy conservation and environmental protection as its primary business, CECEP thoroughly implements Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, actively serves the national dual-carbon goals and the Beautiful China initiative, and remains committed to building a world-class energy conservation and environmental protection industrial group. As a well-known enterprise in the energy and industrial equipment manufacturing sectors, Shanghai Electric shares strong business synergies and complementary advantages with CECEP, offering broad prospects for cooperation. CECEP hopes to deepen cooperation with Shanghai Electric in areas including new energy development and utilization, smart park design, dual-carbon services, joint technology research and development, and overseas market expansion, jointly contributing to green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
Zhang Shirong affirmed the existing cooperation achievements between the two sides and expressed hope that both parties would further expand areas of cooperation, strengthen collaborative efforts, fully leverage their respective advantages and strive to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Wu Lei thanked CECEP for its long-term support and assistance to Shanghai Electric and introduced the company’s development and business layout.
