On April 24, the 2026 "Beautiful China" Guide Contest and Youth Lecturer Training Event, hosted by CNEPG, concluded successfully.
This event, themed "Telling Stories of Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains, Painting the Scroll of a Beautiful China", aimed to carry forward the fine traditions of public speaking, continuously build a platform for empowering young employees' growth, guide young people to excel in their roles and deeply cultivate their professional skills, and proactively integrate into the company's broader efforts in public outreach and publicity. Through promoting learning by training and selecting the best through competition, it further optimized the echelon construction of the lecturer team and strengthened the team's professional competence and service awareness.
The event attracted 34 participants from various subsidiaries. During the training segment, in-depth instruction was provided on topics including a special study on the concept of political performance and specialized lectures on presentation skills. In the practical segment, participants were organized to conduct on-site study at the Qingdao Science and Technology Museum, learning from the presentation experience of advanced science popularization venues. Previous outstanding award winners also shared their experiences and gave demonstration presentations, driving overall improvement through the power of role models. At the final competition, 12 shortlisted contestants performed on stage. Focusing on the innovative applications and notable achievements of technological innovation in ecological civilization construction, they vividly presented practical cases in areas such as waste-to-energy incineration, zero-waste city development, clean utilization of biomass, and smart ecological monitoring, demonstrating the spirit and professional competence of CNEPG young employees.
It is noted that this event was the third "Beautiful China" Guide Contest held by CNEPG. Previously, contestants from the company won second prize in the 2025 National Finals of the "Beautiful China" Guide Contest hosted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, with multiple contestants receiving excellence awards. This competition has gradually become a brand event with distinctive corporate characteristics, serving as an important window for the company to showcase its green image and spread ecological and environmental protection concepts. In the future, CNEPG will continue to tell environmental protection stories through the voices of its youth and contribute to building a Beautiful China with the power of science popularization.
