On April 15, Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, visited the headquarters of China Energy Engineering Group (CEEC) and held talks with Ni Zhen, Chairman of CEEC. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on deepening strategic cooperation. Du Le, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, and Xu Lu, DEputy General Manager of CEEC, attended the meeting.

Liao Jiasheng expressed his appreciation for CEEC’s longstanding support and assistance, and introduced the basic situation, core business layout and strategic plans of CECEP. He noted that, as a central enterprise focused on energy conservation and environmental protection, the Group has consistently implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and firmly served the national dual-carbon strategy, building up extensive experience and a range of core technologies in its main business areas. CEEC, with its advanced technologies and strong capabilities in energy, power and water infrastructure, shares aligned strategic missions and complementary strengths with CECEP, offering significant potential for cooperation. He expressed the hope that both sides would further expand collaboration in areas such as new energy and energy storage, solid waste treatment, ecological restoration and international business, fully leveraging their respective advantages to jointly contribute to building a strong energy sector and a Beautiful China.
Ni Zhen extended a warm welcome to Liao Jiasheng and his delegation, and spoke positively of the progress achieved since the launch of strategic cooperation between the two sides. He also introduced CEEC’s development and business layout. He stated that, as a national leader in China’s energy, power and water sectors, CEEC has consistently prioritized green and low-carbon development and actively participated in building new energy systems and modern power systems. CECEP has rich practical experience and leading technological capabilities in energy conservation and environmental protection, providing a solid foundation and broad prospects for cooperation. CEEC looks forward to further deepening cooperation with CECEP in areas including clean energy development and utilization, ecological and environmental protection, zero-carbon industrial parks, and overseas business expansion, to achieve mutual benefit and coordinated development.
