On April 13, Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, held working talks at the Group headquarters with Jiang Weiliang, General Manager of Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited, and his delegation. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on advancing financial digitalization, implementing penetrating supervision, and promoting practical cooperation in the fields of energy conservation and environmental protection. Du Le, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, also attended the meeting.
Liao Jiasheng welcomed Jiang Weiliang and his delegation and introduced the basic situation, core business layout and strategic plans of CECEP. He noted that, as a central state-owned enterprise with energy conservation and environmental protection as its main business, CECEP actively practices Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, serves the building of a Beautiful China and green, low-carbon development, and continues to strengthen its business presence in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Nam Kwong has long been deeply rooted in Macao, with strong business foundations and rich application scenarios, offering significant potential for cooperation. CECEP looks forward to strengthening cooperation with Nam Kwong in areas such as energy conservation and clean energy supply, waste and wastewater treatment, comprehensive environmental management, and dual-carbon consulting services, so as to contribute to the development of a beautiful Macao and high-quality growth.
Jiang Weiliang expressed his gratitude for the warm reception by CECEP and introduced the development history, main businesses and operational performance of Nam Kwong. He stated that, as the only central enterprise headquartered in Macao, Nam Kwong actively responds to the national dual-carbon strategy and the development plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, taking green and low-carbon transformation as a key direction for high-quality development. Nam Kwong focuses on core businesses including public services, cultural tourism, urban development, and trade and logistics, and sees broad prospects for cooperation with CECEP. Nam Kwong hopes to deepen cooperation with CECEP in areas such as integrated energy management, development and utilization of new energy, ecological and environmental protection, and green finance, while drawing on CECEP’s valuable experience in digital transformation to achieve complementary advantages and coordinated development.
