On April 8, Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, visited Yangquan City in Shanxi Province and held a working meeting with Ju Zhen, Secretary of the CPC Yangquan Municipal Committee, and Chen Kai, Mayor of Yangquan. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on further strengthening practical cooperation. Du Le, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, and Shi Zheng, Vice Mayor of Yangquan, attended the meeting.
Liao Jiasheng expressed sincere gratitude to the CPC Yangquan Municipal Committee and the Yangquan Municipal Government for their warm reception and long-standing support for CECEP. He introduced the Group’s overall situation, business layout and its 15th Five-Year Plan. He noted that, as a central enterprise focusing on energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP adheres to Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and actively practices the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, possessing a full industrial chain and a range of core technologies in energy conservation and environmental protection. Yangquan is striving to become a leading demonstration city for the green transformation of resource-based cities, which aligns closely with the Group’s core business. The two sides enjoy broad prospects for cooperation. CECEP is willing to expand cooperation with Yangquan in areas such as zero-carbon industrial parks, bulk solid waste treatment, ecological restoration, new energy development and utilization, and smart environmental monitoring, contributing to the building of a beautiful Yangquan and high-quality development.
Ju Zhen welcomed Liao Jiasheng and his delegation and thanked CECEP for its long-standing care and support for Yangquan’s development. He introduced the basic situation of Yangquan and its economic and social development. He said that Yangquan boasts rich resource endowments, clear location advantages and a solid industrial foundation, and is making every effort to build a modern industrial system with regional competitive advantages and a green, low-carbon orientation. The development philosophy and professional strengths of CECEP are highly compatible with Yangquan’s development needs, with a solid foundation and great potential for cooperation. Yangquan looks forward to deepening cooperation with CECEP in areas such as zero-carbon industrial parks, industrial solid waste treatment, mine restoration, clean energy development and utilization, and dual-carbon consulting services, so as to promote the implementation of more high-quality projects and achieve high-quality development together.
Chen Kai fully affirmed the work carried out and achievements made by CECEP in Yangquan. He stated that Yangquan will fully implement the decisions and arrangements of the municipal Party committee, continue to optimize the business environment, and make every effort to provide service support and factor guarantees, offering the strongest support for CECEP to invest and deepen its development in Yangquan.
