From October 22 to 23, the 4th Business Conference on Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development was held in the Macao Special Administrative Region. Zhang Shirong, General Manager of CECEP, attended the conference on behalf of the Group.
The conference was jointly hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region. Under the theme “Integrating the Greater Bay Area for a Connected World”, it aimed to advance the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the new stage and align with high-standard trade and investment rules. Zhang attended the opening ceremony, the presentation of achievements, the plenary session and a parallel seminar on leveraging the Greater Bay Area's strengths in technological and industrial innovation and promoting collaborative development of industrial parks.
During his stay in Macao, Zhang held a working meeting with Ip Kuong Lam, Director of the Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA) of the Macao SAR Government. The two sides exchanged views in depth on supporting Macao's green and low-carbon development and expanding business cooperation in environmental protection and energy.
Relevant representatives from the Group's Overseas Business Department and CGC also participated in the above events.
