CECEPEC has been appointed as one of the first accredited assessors under the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) Green Equity Designation Programme.
Recently, HKEX officially launched the Green Equity Designation Programme, a voluntary certification mechanism designed to help market participants identify companies committed to advancing environmentally sustainable businesses and investments. The programme provides credible certification to these companies, demonstrating their contributions to the development of the green economy. CECEPEC has been appointed as one of the first accredited external assessors under the programme, making it currently the only assessor with a central state-owned enterprise (SOE) background.
Over the years, CECEPEC has actively participated in Hong Kong's green finance market and continuously contributed to its healthy development. Going forward, leveraging its newly acquired accreditation, CECEPEC will provide professional external assessment services to companies seeking Green Equity certification from HKEX. Drawing on its expertise and practical experience in ESG and sustainable development, the company will also offer pre- and post-financing advisory services to clients, continuing to support their green and sustainable financing initiatives.
