Recently, the Guanyuan New Era Building of New Era Group, as a key member of the Xinjiekou Green Power Community, completed a power system upgrade in collaboration with China Overseas International Center, the Mei Lanfang Theatre and Grand Metropark Yuantong Hotel Beijing, achieving a 100 percent green power supply.
Working together with the three partners, New Era Group successfully overcame barriers to cross-sector collaboration and carried out a systematic green power retrofit across a 170,000-square-meter building complex. The project exclusively uses electricity generated from renewable sources such as wind, solar and hydropower, delivering the notable advantages of near-zero carbon emissions and clean, sustainable operation. It not only eliminates carbon emissions from electricity consumption during operations, but also drives an overall carbon reduction of 78 percent, demonstrating in concrete action the national dual-carbon strategy and underscoring the responsibility and commitment of a central state-owned enterprise.
