On December 27, the China Federation of Industrial Economics held the Fourth China Industrial Carbon Peak Forum in Qingdao, at which CECEP was included in the 2025 China’s Top Runner for Industrial Carbon Peaking list. Du Le, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, attended the forum by invitation and delivered a keynote speech.
Under the theme “Dual-Carbon Driven, Advancing Toward Green Strength—Building the CECEP Model for Comprehensive Industrial Carbon Peak Solutions”, Du Le shared CECEP’s practical experience in supporting industrial carbon peaking and his reflections on the challenges facing the industrial sector. In light of the Group’s 15th Five-Year Plan development goals, he put forward recommendations from three perspectives: tapping deeper carbon reduction potential within industrial systems, advancing the development of zero-carbon industrial parks, and improving the green and low-carbon industrial chain.
Held under the theme “Technology Leadership, Smart-Green Integration, Advancing Dual-Carbon Goals and Green Transformation”, the forum brought together nearly 300 participants, including representatives from central government departments and leading industrial enterprises. The list of 2025 China’s Top Runner for Industrial Carbon Peaking released at the forum was determined through multiple rounds of rigorous evaluation, including document review, on-site presentations, expert panel assessment and public consultation, with a total of 46 enterprises selected.
