On September 17, the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit opened in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Vice President Han Zheng attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of the Group, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and visited the Group’s exhibition area for guidance, accompanied by Deputy General Manager Cao Huabin.

This year’s Expo and Summit, themed “Promoting AI Empowerment and Innovation for a New Shared Future, Innovation Driving the Future, Leveraging China-ASEAN FTA 3.0 New Opportunities for an Even Closer China-ASEAN Community with a Shared Future”, attracted around 3,200 enterprises from 60 countries, covering an exhibition area of 160,000 square meters. The Group participated in the Expo for the first time, with its booth themed “Digital Intelligence Powers Green Growth, Innovation Steers the Future Course”. The exhibition vividly showcased CECEP’s application of big data and AI technologies in ecological and environmental protection, highlighting advanced technologies, equipment and global business presence in fields such as clean energy development and utilization, integrated energy management, solid waste treatment, water environment management, ecological restoration, and environmental engineering. It systematically demonstrated CECEP’s capabilities in implementing China’s green and low-carbon development goals, providing integrated energy and environmental solutions, and fulfilling its mission to contribute CECEP’s strength to building a clean and beautiful world and a community with a shared future for humanity.

That morning, Liao Jiasheng held talks with Qin Likui, Party Secretary and Chairman of Guangxi Modern Logistics Group. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on practical cooperation in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection. Both agreed that CECEP and Guangxi Modern Logistics Group share aligned development philosophies, similar business layouts and broad prospects for cooperation. They expressed the hope of establishing a regular cooperation mechanism to further leverage their respective strengths, deepen collaboration in areas such as zero-carbon park construction, integrated energy management, wastewater and solid waste treatment, clean energy development and utilization, and overseas market expansion, create landmark cooperation projects, and set an example of central-local cooperation. They also pledged to join hands in exploring ASEAN markets, contributing more to Guangxi’s economic and social development and green, low-carbon transition.
That afternoon, Liao Jiasheng listened to work reports from the Southwest Regional Company of CECEP Wind-power and CECEP Ecotech Guangxi branch on production, operations and Party building. He gave specific instructions on strengthening market development, advancing lean management, ensuring safety and environmental protection, and enhancing Party leadership.
