On the afternoon of September 1st local time, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted the “September 1st: First Lesson of the Semester” event in Riyadh. Ambassador Chang Hua and Minister-Counselor He Song attended the event. CGM-Saudi, a subsidiary of CGC, was invited as one of the representative Chinese enterprises to participate and deliver a thematic presentation.
During the event, the representative from CGM comprehensively introduced the company’s development journey, the history and current state of Saudi Arabia’s geological and mining sector, key project overviews and technological achievements. Ambassador Chang Hua highly commended the company’s accomplishments and expressed support and appreciation for the efforts of Chinese enterprises in piloting the integration of artificial intelligence with mining. He encouraged continued innovation to further contribute to practical cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia.
Since its establishment in 2007, CGM-Saudi has been dedicated to developing Saudi Arabia’s geological and mining markets. The company has undertaken multiple key geological exploration and development projects in the country, actively promoting deeper and more substantive collaboration in the mining sector between China and Saudi Arabia, and supporting exchanges and cooperation in mining and technology.
