On May 12, Liao Jiasheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of CECEP, welcomed Zhao Zhibin—member of the Standing Committee of Xiangyang Municipal Party Committee, director of the Organization Department and leader of the city’s Seventh Investment Promotion Delegation—and his entourage to CECEP Headquarters. The two sides held in-depth discussions on pragmatic cooperation in infrastructure development, clean energy supply, waste and refuse treatment, and innovation in green finance.
Liao extended a warm welcome to his guests and outlined CECEP’s core businesses and ongoing projects in Xiangyang. He emphasized that CECEP will leverage its full industrial chain capabilities in energy conservation and environmental protection to join forces with Xiangyang in cutting pollution, reducing carbon emissions and restoring ecology. He expressed his commitment to helping Xiangyang create a Xiangyang Model for Yangtze River Economic Belt environmental protection, contributing CECEP’s expertise and strength to the high-quality development of the Xiangyang metropolitan area.
Zhao Zhibin noted that, as a provincial sub-center city, Xiangyang boasts a vast market, broad development platform and layered strategic opportunities. He expressed his hope that CECEP will continue to deploy its technological and resource advantages in the energy-conservation and environmental-protection sectors, deepening practical cooperation with Xiangyang to drive the city’s green, low-carbon and high-quality growth.
