On December 4, the 2025 Experience Exchange on Complete Sets and Technical Assistance Foreign Aid Projects, hosted by the Agency for International Economic Cooperation (AIECO) of the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), was held in Beijing. Four overseas foreign aid projects undertaken by CECEP subsidiary China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation (CQEC) passed a rigorous review and collectively received MOFCOM’s China Aid for Shared Future certification.

The awarded projects span multiple countries across Asia, Africa and Latin America. Implemented jointly by CQEC and Beijing Sifang, they stand as benchmark cases of China’s foreign aid projects during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The recognition not only affirms CQEC’s technical strength and management capability, but also highlights the Group’s active service to China’s foreign assistance strategy and its commitment to the green development vision of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The renovation of the People’s Palace in Comoros, a landmark of China–Comoros friendship, has effectively advanced cooperation between the two countries in infrastructure and clean energy. The restoration and upgrading of Sindhupalchok District Hospital in Nepal, a key livelihood project in the country’s post-earthquake reconstruction and a model of China–Nepal cooperation in healthcare, has improved local medical conditions and provided better services for about 60,000 residents, becoming a testament to bilateral friendship. The construction of doctors’ dormitories at Abdulla Mzee Hospital in Zanzibar, Tanzania, has filled gaps in supporting facilities, significantly improved living conditions for medical staff, attracted medical professionals, and helped raise the local level of healthcare, delivering tangible benefits to the community. The renovation of the peripheral area of the Royal Tombs in Tonga, a landmark site, has protected royal heritage, eased parking pressure in the capital’s central area, expanded public leisure space, and improved local tourism infrastructure.
CQEC will continue to advance its international development strategy, leverage its professional strengths, and shoulder the responsibilities of a central SOE through solid technologies, injecting green momentum into high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and the building of a community with a shared future for humanity in harmony with nature.
