On the afternoon of November 19 local time, a side event themed “Green and Low-Carbon Actions of Central SOEs Under the Dual-Carbon Goals” was successfully held at the China Pavilion during the 30th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP30) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Belém, Brazil. Du Le, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, was invited to attend and deliver remarks.
At the event, CECEP joined several organizations in launching the Initiative on Building Green Resilience: Promoting the Development of China–Brazil Green Supply Chains, which aims to foster a full-chain green collaborative governance mechanism. Commissioned by the Social Responsibility Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), CECEP Research Center released several major outcomes for the second time, including the Outstanding Practice Cases of Green and Sustainable Development of Central SOEs and the 2025 Report on Green Development of Central SOEs.
Hosted by the Social Responsibility Bureau of SASAC, the side event brought together representatives from governments, enterprises and research institutions of China, Brazil and other countries. Participants shared strategic plans, practical achievements and cooperation pathways for green and low-carbon development, highlighting the active contribution and innovative momentum of Chinese enterprises in global climate governance.
