From October 28 to 31 (local time), APEC CEO Summit Korea 2025 was held in Gyeongju, Korea. Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a written address titled “Putting the Asia Pacific at the Forefront of the Joint Endeavor for World Development and Prosperity”. On the afternoon of October 31, Hu Naimin, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, attended the summit as a representative of the Chinese business delegation organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), at the invitation of the organizers. He listened in person to President Xi’s written address and participated in the APEC handover ceremony.
The summit, themed “Bridge, Business, Beyond”, brought together more than 1,000 political and business representatives from APEC economies. Participants held in-depth discussions on topics such as regional economic integration, sustainability, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, global finance and biomedicine. During the visit to Korea, Hu and his delegation also conducted field studies at major projects of global Fortune 500 companies including SK Group and POSCO. They engaged in extensive exchanges and technical discussions on energy conservation and environmental protection, emission reduction and carbon mitigation, business cooperation, and market development.
Representatives from CECEP’s Cooperation Department and Valiant also attended the related events.
