On July 5, CECEP signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holding Co., Ltd in Tongling City, Anhui Province. Song Xin, chairman of CECEP, and Yang Jun, president of Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group, as well as Kong Tao, mayor of Tongling City, attended the signing ceremony. Li Jie, deputy CEO of CECEP, and Ding Shiqi, deputy general manager of Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group, signed the agreement on behalf of both sides.
According to the agreement, both sides will focus on the goals of peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality and engage in in-depth and comprehensive cooperation in fields such as green, low-carbon and circular development, industrial energy conservation, the development of new energy, the supply of clean energy, the comprehensive management of industrial environment as well as high-value use and recycling of industrial waste. The agreement marks a new cooperation model between CECEP and Tongling City aimed at achieving advantage complementation, promoting technological progress and facilitating high-quality development. Previously, CECEP had been engaged in comprehensive cooperation with Tongling City, which has yielded fruits.
